Amazon Special Projects
During my time on Amazon Special Projects, I had the privilege of spending my time thinking big about how Amazon can make a positive impact in the world. Unfortunately, the team was shut down and the work is confidential so I can’t show it.
So, I’ll do my best to speak to what I did without getting sued:
- Lead UX design and branding of a new-to-world women’s healthcare product on a highly ambiguous, undefined innovation team
- Developed and integrated the customer experience across branding, packaging, hardware, app design, naming strategy, and content creation, ensuring alignment with customer needs while maintaining compliance with stringent FDA regulations.
- Designed intake, review, approval, and regulatory documentation processes that enabled the Experience Design team to support research, design, and copy needs across product, marketing, and QA partner teams with speed and clarity
- Collaborated with Amazon internal brand team to ensure brand strategy and execution met both Amazon brand standards, while delivering against specific customer needs
- Managed and mentored a team of 10 designers, copywriters, UX researchers, and agency partners
- Successfully led product naming strategy, gaining SVP approval with no revisions, ensuring alignment with brand, legal, and FDA regulatory standards.
